This item was perfect. It had a mommy, daddy and 2 children gingerbread cut outs. It was perfect. The metal it definitely better for cutting out the gingerbread. Great item.

I purchased these to make gingerbread cookies with my granddaughter who is three. She was able to handle the small cutters with ease. The larger cutters are nice for using up larger amounts of dough once the little one looses interest in the activity. They cut the dough well and the cookies are adorable. If dipped in cornstarch prior to cutting they release the dough every time.
